Green Economy:- An environmental policy for nature , or pricing of the ecosystem and a privatization drive?

Green Economy:- An environmental  policy for nature conservation ,  or pricing of the ecosystem and a privatization drive?

The following are excerpts from the dissertation

 Green Economy: What is it?
What is Green Economy? can values of nature be priced.  What is the experience we can draw from regions/areas where nature for the last century has been priced   ( for minerals, oil, mono crops,etc...) and is exploited for profit...
Is it a contemporary globalization  theory  for saving the planet & indigenous community values? or the conspiracy of the big banks, multinational companies, and the ....... for own profits

The Polluter pays; third party regulates...; the society/community Protects

For long time, and up to the Rio meeting of world leaders , industrialists were thought as the cause of the problems of pollution, and the emerging ill effects of climate change.....The big banks ,multinational companys( chemical, oil, etc...) were seen as part of the problem, and were never invited to take part in the discussions and decisions.

And, then...... the table was turned over, and the major polluters were to  become part of the solution. that is good.nature and humanity is not responsibility of a certain group...But, their inherent inside is drien by pricing, and working for profits....making money...that is what business is for them....
They came with their twisted and declining economic market , theories  and started talking about ecosystem markets,..pricing of nature and environmental "protection:' ...for profit

We can do it : combining protection, and benefits/profits in the right way. But, we moved fast, we became short sighted, didn't we???

In an Al Jezzera documentary recently, i saw a very professional presentations of the case.....

Vale- a giant mining company (iron ore,,,, in Brazil, planted single species-eucalyptus trees amidst the amazon . Awarded environmental prizes without the ill effects of the action on society and environment...

Carbon trading companies in Europe are displacing societies to plant trees not in Europe, in Africa   to balance for their carbon foot print.....
